The philosophy
We are passionate about one thing: restoring the classic Jaguar XJS to its former glory, with original parts wherever they exist, strict factory specification everywhere, and an obsession the factory itself would recognise. Each XJS tells a story. Ours is to preserve it.
A complete restoration, taken in four disciplines, each carried out under one roof in Newbury.
Stripped to bare metal, the shell is read panel by panel. Corrosion is cut out and replaced in steel, gaps are set true, and the surface is brought to a standard fit for paint that will outlive us all.
The V12 brought back to song. Engines and drivetrains are rebuilt to factory tolerance, run in with patience, and set up to run as Browns Lane intended, smooth and unhurried.
Hide, walnut and wool, cut and trimmed by hand to the original patterns. A cabin restored to the standard the badge always promised, without a single modern shortcut.
Correct factory colours laid down in a controlled booth, then flatted and polished until the reflection is honest. Depth you can fall into, and protection that lasts for decades.
